Urban City Parks
Urban City Parks
An urban park, also known as a municipal park, is a park that is built in cities mostly to reduce air pollution and as a place to relax. The design and maintenance is mostly done by city government, or by a county or state government on certain occasions. Some parks have a playground, transportation unit, large pond, sports field, etc.
With so much urban development, the city or urban park is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Many urban parks feature attractions like amusement rides and zoos or even aquariums. You can find tour packages and tour guides for the large urban parks. Many of the best hotels will be able to assist you in finding the best services so you may best enjoy the offerings of urban city parks.
Today, the primary meaning, based on the original meaning, is an area of open space provided for recreational uses. Parks in this sense are usually owned and provided by the government. Park uses are often divided into two categories: active and passive recreation. Active recreation is that which require intensive development and often involves cooperative or team activity, including playgrounds and ball fields. Passive recreation is that which emphasizes the open-space aspect of a park and which involves a low level of development, including picnic areas and trails.
